Are your kids curious about spaces, buildings, and why/how we make them? Join us for a day of reading and activities about Architecture!

What is Architecture? Greensboro Event

Hey there! Join us in-person for a fun and engaging look into the world of architecture. Whether your child wants to be an architect or is just curious about how buildings are designed and built, this event is perfect to explore what makes architecture so cool and important. What to Expect:

  1. Listen to lively book readings by Architectural professionals (best for ages 2-6)

  2. Design + Build Activity: Use recycled materials to free-build or follow a creative prompt to design your own space. (fun for all ages)

  3. Blockitects Activity: Build unique structures using a variety of building blocks.
    (fun for all ages) *provided by AIA Triangle

  4. Scale Up Activity: Work together to assemble large-scale structures using PVC pipes. (fun for all ages) *provided by AIA Triangle
