J. Hyatt Hammond Scholarship

The J. Hyatt Hammond Achievement Grant was created to provide young professionals a chance to attend the state's premier gathering of architects. Established in 1999, supporting early career architects and emerging professionals with merit awards for leadership and professional development, including attendance at the Aspire Conference each year. It is open to all AIANC Associate Members and architects licensed for less than 10 years.

Applications will open in Spring of 2026

Each year, we will award 10 grants for $1000.

This three-day event offers 36 different keynotes, talks and chats, and an interactive Early Leaders track for you to attend. You will also be able to network with the top architects and decision-makers from Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

Eligibility is restricted to AIA North Carolina associate members and architect members who have been licensed for less than 10 years.
