Code Consultants from the North Carolina Office of State Fire Marshal will present the significant changes to the 2024 NC Building, Existing Building, Energy Conservation, and Administrative Code and Policies. Major topics will include occupancy classifications, building planning, life safety, means of egress, fire prevention, accessibility, structural design criteria, plumbing fixture design parameters, building mechanical support provisions, existing buildings criteria, and more! Our speakers will cover the major code changes between 2018 and 2024 as adopted by the North Carolina Building Code Council over a multiple-year amendment and adoption process.
