ARCHITECT

ALLIED Members

Eligibility

Individuals who do not hold a degree in architecture, but share an interest in the built environment as a professional colleague or enthusiast, are eligible for a North Carolina Allied membership. Learn More >>

ASSOCIATE

Eligibility

Associate membership is open to individuals who meet one of the following criteria: professional degree in architecture; currently work under the supervision of an architect; currently enrolled in the Intern Development Program (IDP) and working toward licensure; or faculty member in a university program in architecture.

Eligibility for Associates: New Graduates

Individuals who have graduated with a professional degree in architecture from an accredited school during the 2013-2014 academic years (NAAB Degree Holders).

INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATE

Eligibility

Individuals who have an architecture license or equivalent from a non-U.S. licensing authority are eligible for International Associate membership.

Transfer Membership

At the written request of a member, the Institute shall transfer the member’s assignment from one chapter to another provided that the transferring member either lives or works within the territory of the new chapter. Download Application>>


Dues Installment Plan

All renewing members are eligible to participate in the 2015 Dues Installment Program. Enroll no later than April 30, and pay your membership dues in up to six monthly installments. 2015 membership dues must be paid in full by June 30, 2015. Learn more>>
