Quantitative - Ideal Candidate Expectations:


  • Management – Ability to monitor project budgets and schedules. Ability to manage the design process and supervise workflow of design with assistance from Principal or Project Manager.

  • Construction – Basic knowledge of the construction process and construction administration

  • Documentation – Strong knowledge of construction document production, and detailing. Ability to both generate and direct production activities.

  • Programming – Strong knowledge of programming techniques and ability to implement them with client and end users.  Finding the Client’s why and clearly identifying the project goals.

  • Communication – Strong graphic, written, and oral communication skills. Ability to present ideas and strategies quickly, thoughtfully, and concisely.


  • Discovery – Ability to diagram, research and ideate to build a design concept or parti.

  • Design – Ability to take a design concept and translate it into physical space and form that are beautiful, functional, and impactful.

  • Visualization – Ability to convey design ideas in unique and visual compelling formats.  Hand sketching, 3D renderings, diagrams, virtual reality, etc.

  • Finishes – Basic knowledge of materials and their applications, availability, and cost.

  • Tectonics – Ability to think holistically about a concept early for code compliance and constructability.

  • Collaboration – strong team player who is inclusive and inspiring.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture and 3+ years related professional experience; licensure preferred but not mandatory.

  • Proven design experience in similar project types, sizes, and team structures.

  • Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office.

  • Working knowledge of building codes, standards, building construction, and building structures.
