Gail died at home this afternoon. The resurgence of the cancer in her liver was quick, surprising, and obviously devastating. We first learned it was back on Thursday, and Friday had our very first inkling of its severity.
I will have a follow-up message to all of you in a few days with more information. I especially wanted to get this email out today, in hopes that it will reach all of the "visionaries" who are used to tuning in with her each noon. I hope that you will do so again tomorrow, only this time to help speed her on her present journey (orjust to say "good-bye").
I'm attaching a photo of us on our last big vacation out west, just months before the first whiff of our long hard slog with cancer.

PS: No public ceremony is planned. I can't imagine one that would do her justice, and I'd rather you all remember her as she was.
